The Spectrum Foundation donated $2,500 to the American Red Cross International Relief Fund immediately following the devastating earthquakes which occurred January 12, 2010. We believe this is a good beginning, but we encourage individuals to find personal ways to support our neighbors, who are in dire need. Spectrum CEO Jeff Wassmer states, “Unexpected disasters such as this never just affect a local area, they affect all of us as natural disasters can happen anywhere, anytime. It’s important that we value each second of life here on earth because it does run out and that we help fellow humanity and life whenever, wherever and however we can.”
The Spectrum Foundation represents all Spectrum employees and family members. The Disabled American Veterans organization is the primary benefactor of the Foundation, but emergency assistance is another important area the Foundation concentrates funds to.
