July 17, 2015 – Newport News, VA – Spectrum Comm, Inc. has been awarded a project under the Air Force Technical and Analytical Support for Professional Services (AFTAS PRO) Task Order that includes seven employees in West Virginia. This new project results in the opening of a new office location for the company in Bridgeport, WV. Spectrum’s CEO Jeff Wassmer and COO William Stulb celebrated a ribbon cutting on Thursday, July 16 with employees and family, members of the Bridgeport City Council and Chamber of Commerce.
This team boasts over 40 years of collective experience supporting the USAF Acquisition community. Under this project, their focus will be on providing Lean Six Sigma expertise including: Facilitating and documenting Rapid Improvement Events to produce tangible changes within Air Force Acquisition; Conducting surveillance and maintenance of the Acquisition Process Model; Managing a Clearinghouse for Continuous Process Improvements; Conducting Strategic Alignment Events to address cross-cutting improvement issues across the Air Force; and addressing partnerships with Academia and Industry on acquisition issues.
