Newport News, VA –August 20, 2010 Spectrum will partner with URS in their recent award of one of 17 Rapid Response 3rd Generation (R2-3G) contracts by the Department of Defense (DoD) to support the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command’s (CECOM).

The contract has a five-year term and a maximum value $16.4 billion. As a member of the URS team, Spectrum will compete for future tasks on this vehicle provide a range of engineering support services including, studies and analysis, systems modification and logistics support for government aircraft, tracked and wheeled vehicles, shelters and ground-support equipment.
